| Description
The Earth Defense Force is tasked with defending Earth's
interests in the Galaxy and seeks to ensure that their near extinction
at the hands of the Gamilon Empire never happens again.

| Biological Description
The planet Earth boasts a hardy race of bipedal oxygen
breathing lifeforms. The surface of the Earth was rendered virtually
uninhabitable towards the end of their first interstellar war, and
the surviving population was forced to live a spartan existence below
ground. It was only the intervention by a benign alien force which
allowed the humans to survive and rebuild their shattered world.

Society Description
While Earth's planetary government is primarily democratic,
the predominance of the Earth Defense Command has resulted in a decidedly
military flair.

General History The Earth Defense Force is the military arm of the earth government, and is tasked to defend earth and earth's interests at all costs. After suffering near total defeat and extinction in their first major interstellar war, the Earth Defense Force has become a very agressive military force to ensure that such a near defeat never happens again. Equipped with advanced technology in the aftermath of their last interstellar war, the Earth Defense Force now boasts an impressive military force. |
